Artists Noreen Akhtar, Arif Khan, Ahmed Khan and Tahir Bin Qullander will have their calligraphic artworks on display brought together with the collaboration of the Mussawir Art Gallery and Art Couture this August.

Born in 1938, Ahmed Khan is thought of as one of Pakistan’s greatest living calligraphic artists. His works have sold internationally and in the world’s main auction houses. Also from Pakistan, Tahir Bin Qullander steers away from the traditional form of calligraphy, using bold strokes and presenting his artworks in contemporary graphic compositions.

Noreen Akhtar, the youngest of the artists gets her inspirations directly from Arabic, the language of the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad PBUH while Arif Khan is a lecturer at Punjab University who creatively experiments with oil and watercolours on paper.
